What happens when East meets West? Well, nothing major, except for the fact that the centuries old Chirstmas song JINGLE BELL takes a Punjabi flavor and turns into JINGLE BALLE!

Yes, you read it right, because this is the song you would be hearing for next few days as the first promo of Akshay Kumar's next release NAMASTEY LONDON is on the air. For this Vipul Shah film [who has earlier directed AANKHEN and WAQT], Akshay Kumar has shot for a special promotional track titled JINGLE BALLE for the occasion of Christmas and New Year.

Since Akshay plays a Punjabi guy in the film who is attached to his roots, his idea of serenading his lady love Katrina Kaif [who is deep rooted in Western culture] has a certain 'desi' tone to it too. This is the reason why he dresses up as a Santa Claus and showers her with presents while crooning JINGLE BALLE in his own voice.
