Sophie Chaudhary is still basking in the stupendous success of PYAAR KE SIDE EFFECTS. She recounts her experience as the sultry Baby Doll a.k.a Tanya in PKSE. “I am proud to be a part of PKSE. It was wonderful working with the entire unit of PKSE. People have appreciated my work and I am grateful to all of them. Infact so many people call me Baby Doll now and they even ask me out for coffee,” laughs Sophie.

Sophie in a way did identify with her character Tanya in the film. “Tanya in some way is similar to me. She’s smart, glamorous, intelligent and a very ‘real’ character. She was somewhere missing a love life also. So I can relate to her.”

She has Vikram Bhatt’s SPEED and Arjun Rampal’s home production I SEE YOU coming up. She plays Dilnaz, a fun, flirty, ambitious TV anchor in I SEE YOU. “I have a special appearance in the film. I took it up because I couldn’t say no to Arjun and Mehr. There’s also a song picturised on Arjun and me, (choreographed by Shiamak Davar) and Arjun has really done a commendable job,”

“I am paired opposite Aftab Shivdasani in SPEED. It’s an action oriented character and I could never imagine myself playing someone like this. Monica (the name of her character) is a hot headed passionate girl and has grey sides to her,” reveals Sophie.

She is presently recording for her original music album that’ll be out by January next year and enthusiastically awaiting 2007. “I enjoy all kinds of cinema. I also enjoy multistarrer films. I want to take up interesting roles that have substance and work with good banners,” says Sophie who made her debut in the David Dhawan multistarrer SHAADI NO 1.
