Laugh riot APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY is in its 7th week and is all set to complete 50 days this Friday.

A film that was panned by most critics in their reviews went on to take a bumper opening in its first weekend even as it was pitted against Sooraj Barjatya's VIVAH. While VIVAH has definitely benefited over the weeks due to its distribution and placement strategy, ASMM too has proved to be an earner.

Now nearing an end of its theatrical run with the DVDs already being out on the stands, this Riteish, Shreyas, Chunky, Celina, Koena starrer has proved to be a success amongst the masses.

This is second straight success for director Sangeeth Sivan who had to wait for 7 years before striking gold with KYA KOOL HAIN HUM. His earlier films were ZOR [1998] and CHURA LIYA HAI TUMNE [2003] which were box office failures. His SANDHYA is still waiting to see the light of the day.

He is currently working on two films, both starring Nana Patekar in the lead.
