Those interested in pursuing filmmaking as a career have just got luckier. Showman Subhash Ghai's Filmmaking institute, Whistling Woods International, was recently inaugurated with an intension of training interested candidates in cinema, television and media arts.
This institute will offer a two years diploma course in cinema, television and media arts. It will provide training in all creative and technical aspects of filmmaking, media and animation. Mukta Arts founded by Subhash Ghai has established this institute with popular film personalities as the faculty. The institute runs under the guidance of Shekhar Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Naseeruddin Shah and Shyam Benegal.
A host of Filmstars showed up along with a few politicians. Those present included Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu, Shahrukh Khan, Hema Malini, Jeetendra, Tusshar Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Aviation Minister Praful Patel, I&B Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunshi etc.
The institute is affiliated to Seneca College, Canada and the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and is also associated to Apple Corp, Sony, AMD, NVIDIA and a few other companies.
