Actor Kapil Sharma and Anupam Kher share a special bond. That of off-screen teacher-pupil and on-screen father-son. From make-up and preparation tips, Kher ensured that his pupil was perfect in his job.

Seems, Kapil, who is essaying the difficult role of making the audiences laugh in the film, was also part of Anupam Kher's 'An Actor Prepares', got the most important tip of his life from Anupam when he told him not to risk his life for a shot. "It was my first shot," recalls Kapil; "And I had to jump from the second floor. There were safety harnesses, etc. but when I jumped, I fell after shooting from different angles, and hurt my shoulder. There were also cuts and bruises."

"Anupamji told me, to be a hero, you don't need to do 'herogiri'. Be safe and that is what is of utmost importance."

Now, Kapil Pupil sure follows Kher Uncle's instructions from that day.
