It was a workshop with a difference when actors Manoj Bajpai and yesteryear stars Padmini Kapila, Asha Parekh and Shammi, along with director Iqbal Rizvi and dialogue writer Sandeep Shrivastav coached the youngsters of Iqbal Rizvi's feature film titled 90 MINUTES.

The hall resonated with the sound of the participants' voices; their enthusiasm was contagious. From teambuilding exercises to co-ordination, acting skills and improvisation, the team went through an entire series of activities including a pep talk from the experienced actresses of yester-years who seemed more than eager to share their golden words with the enthusiastic youngsters.

Says Manoj Bajpai, who spearheaded the thought... "I play a coach in the film. In order to build the team spirit in the youngsters, I felt the necessity for a workshop where they come together and learn. My producer Padmini Kapila and director Iqbal Rizvi were game, and hence we went ahead with the idea." Agrees dialogue writer Sandeep Shrivastav, "The workshop helps them in acting, and in their life. The result reflects on screen when the actors go through a workshop before going in for the actual shoot." Adds Iqbal Rizvi, "The results are already being seen. The youngsters learn to take criticism and improve their performance. It also helps develop a team spirit in them and that is very vital for the film." Adds producer Padmini Kapila, "The energy exuded by these youngsters is amazing. And that is the essence of 90 MINUTES. The workshop aims to effectively channelise the energies in the right direction."

And that it did. For the team of Aaditya, Abhimanyu, Kartik, Fardeen, Sandesh, Anuj, Rahul, Lakhwinder Singh, Rukhsar and Neelam had the time of their lives at the workshop.
