He was the mentally challenged guy of Main Aisa Hi Hoon, the negative force in Naina, Mumbai Express, Aitraaz, Ab Tak Chappan and Sarkar. Now, actor Dinesh Lamba has won international accolades as well.

Two of the actor's short films 6 x 4 Space and 9.24 Local have won International Awards.

6 x 4 Space has been nominated in the Cannes Festival in the Short Film Category. "I play a liftman in the film and the journey is about how a lift man reads a novel and actually thinks that the novel is turning a reality in his own life. It is a very interesting portrayal as there are no dialogues in the 15-minute film," explains Lamba.

Lamba's other film 9.24 Local has also won the Platinum Award for Best Short Film in the World Fest at Houston, US. Says Lamba, "It is about how people rush into a  train as if it were the last train, when there is a train every minute at the station. This fatal 9.24 Local is the train where a terrorist places that fatal bomb that takes the lives of all those who rushed to be in there. I essay the role of the terrorist who escapes from the 9.24 Local."

While 6 x 4 Space is directed by Wilson Louis, 9.24 Local is directed by Dhananjay.
