'Khullam Khulla' (ROAD) and 'Saaki Saaki Re' (MUSAFIR) that mainly catapulted Bengali bombshell Koena Mitra to limelight, is now busy with her forthcoming film APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY produced by Subhash Ghai. It has an ensemble star cast in which every character has a different story that lures him to get money by various means. "APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY is a multi-starrer comedy film where everyone has a story of their own. Everybody is running after money for different reasons, good and bad ranging from poverty to other personal needs. It's no family drama and the climax is basically about how these money-driven characters meet each other," gushes Koena.
The film mainly revolves around each one's obsession with money. It sure is very important, considering today's scene where prices of things shoot up by leaps and bounds. "Money means a lot to me, it is extremely important and one cannot do without it. However it is not the 'be all and end all' of life. There are quite a few things that money cannot buy like luck, etc." she feeds us with some real life 'gyaan'.
About her 'sapna' in real life she says, "I'm a workaholic and I want to be very successful in everything I do. I want the audience to see my films and appreciate my hard work".
Like every other actor, she too has her list of dreams and wishes. "I have this endless wish list. I want directors to experiment with me and play unusual characters. I want to do action, thrillers, comedy and I'd love to do a typical girl guy-college-romantic flick", says the bong lass.
Cliched as it may sound, what mainly catches her attention when she signs a film? "I believe a combination of everything right from the directors, producers, co-stars and a good script to the camera-man matter a lot. Also, it has to be a well-known producer because the film needs to be sold properly. The camera-man is equally important as he is the one to shoot you from different angles", says the enthusiastic actress.
She's playing a very interesting character in her forthcoming film ANAMIKA-THE UNTOLD STORY. She says it's a great script with diverse characters and cannot disclose anything else as of now.
