The beautiful Pooja Batra was recently seen in the Big Apple at the launch of the book "Encyclopedia of the Indian Diaspora". The event was held at the grand ballroom of the Manhattan Centre and what's more Pooja shared the limelight in this magnificent auditorium with renowned Ustad Zakir Hussain who performed along with fellow percussion musicians from around the world. It was a treat for music aficionados and beauty connoisseurs.

Pooja as always lent glamour and panache to the event sponsored by Citibank. Looking stunning in a bright orange sari, she along with the Indian Ambassador to the United States- Honorable Ronen Sen launched the book. "I am happy to be in my favorite city on my birthday with my favourite musician Zakir Hussain. I admire him and it was a delight to listen to him. It's the best birthday gift," said Pooja excitedly.

"Now part of the Indian Diaspora living and working in Hollywood, it was apt that Ms Batra be part of the launch," said a Citibank spokesman.
