Anurag Basu's METRO, a realistic take on life and everyday problems plaguing the city inhabitants has something more to offer. The film has a huge surprise as far music is concerned. The audience is in for novelty and some mind-blowing music by Pritam.

"The audience expectation (post MURDER and GANGSTER) is naturally building up. METRO has a big surprise in terms of music. The songs are very fresh, new and stylized. It has a new kind of music and we are working doubly hard on it. The singers, styling etc will take everyone by surprise. That's all I can disclose at this point," divulges Basu.

We completely endorse his view point. The groovy, soul-stirring music of MURDER and GANGSTER struck the right chord with audience.

Basu says that he's not a complete commercial filmmaker. "METRO is not completely commercial. I don't make outright masala films and neither do I go for typical art films. I prefer to choose the middle path," he signs off.

His forthcoming films include Mahesh Bhatt's SUICIDE BOMBER and an untitled film with Subhash Ghai.
