Everyone has this image of Akshaye being a reclusive dude. But many are not aware that behind this reclusive demeanour is one of the coolest guy's around. Akshaye just loves speed...

Recently whilst doing a photo-shoot on a speedboat for a high profile mag, Akshaye without warning took off on the speedboat in the midst of the chopping waters. Everyone was left aghast and gaping. But what a sight it was to see the stylish Khanna navigate the speedboat in true Baywatch style. And the girls from the mag couldn't have enough of him as they lustily cheered him on. An eye written recounted that they were busy arranging some light for the photo shoot when they saw Akshaye take off on the speedboat.

Says a source close to the actor, "Very few people especially those close to him are aware that Akshaye is a water baby. He just loves sailing. Infact as a teenager he took lessons from professional trainers and had even planned to captain a ship." Adds the source, "The actor is also currently busy hunting for properties along the Goa coastline, where he can go sailing and water sports during week-ends. He is also looking out for an exclusive made to order yatch, like the one in a scene in HUMRAAZ."

Whilst some actors may be the kings of the roads, the pedigreed Khanna rules the high sea!
