When it comes to a show as unique and classy as the LYCRA® MTV Style Awards, it needs an equally special host to do it justice. So it comes as no surprise when we have one of India's hottest and probably best-dressed Bollywood Producer / Director stepping up to do the honours. Karan Johar, the hotshot, maverick director with numerous Bollywood hits under his designer belt, will host this years LYCRA ® MTV Style Awards.

The one and only event of its kind that creates a unique fusion of fashion, style and music, the LYCRA® MTV Style Awards will be held on October 14th 2006 at the only venue in Mumbai large enough to hold so much style, the MMRDA Bandra Kurla Complex.

Commenting on his association with the event, Karan Johar said, 'I'm expecting 'kutting' edge style, a riot of 'kolours', 'kritikally akklaimed' designers, desi 'kool', 'krazy' stunts… all in signature MTV-style. But I'm still working on how to make the event my own - any idea how I can do that?'
