White sand for JODHAA AKBAR!

Ashutosh Gowarikar is shooting in Karjat for his magnum-opus JODHAA AKBAR, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, though presently only with Roshan, for obvious reasons.
Recently 50 truckloads of white sand were ordered from Jaipur. The reason being given is that previously Ashutosh was shooting in Jaipur and the locales had predominantly whitish sand but now the scene has shifted to Karjat. Being a perfectionist Gowariker wanted continuity, in the scenes (specially in the long shots) as the present shooting venue has a different hue. As a result 50 trucks full of white sand were brought in from Jaipur and 65 workers were assigned the task of covering the whole ground with it, so as to give an impression that it was Jaipur.
