Ritiesh Deshmukh has a lot to cheer about this season. His HEYY BABYY continues to rake in moolah while his DHAMAAL is looking absolutely 'dhamaal' as well. Coming across as an absolute laugh riot, DHAMAAL has, in one of its hilarious sequences, Ritiesh doing mimicry of Late Sanjeev Kumar.

"I wasn't sure if I would be able to pull it off", discloses the soft spoken actor, "I used to do mimicry of artists just for fun and one day director Indra Kumar just caught me doing that."

What happened next? "He was insistent that I use these mannerisms for the camera as well. He wanted me to act in a certain way that Late Sanjeev Kumar did. I was very nervous to begin with and explained him my hesitation", he remembers.

"Still, he would have none of it and asked me to give it a shot. I had to give in and thankfully the scene is being well received by the audience today when they watch it along with the promos", he says.

Is this a solitary sequence where he has done mimicry or does he have more such scenes too? "This is the only instance in the film where I have imitated some other actor. Otherwise I am an original throughout", he laughs.

Led by Sanjay Dutt, the cast of the film is filled with actors who boast of a funny bone like Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffri and Ashish Chaudhary. Incidentally the film doesn't have any heroine and this decision was by design more than a chance.

DHAMAAL is confirmed for a September 7th release and has music by Adnan Sami.
