Asha Bhonsle/Urmila go 'Mehbooba Dilruba'

Asha BhonsleEver since one had heard 'Mehbooba Dilruba', a duet between Asha Bhonsle and Urmila Matondkar, from the album 'Asha & Friends', the wait had begun for the music video of the song to be out soon. And why not? After all the music company had already brought out two music videos featuring Sanjay Dutt and Brett Lee and it was just befitting that Urmila too gets her share of the pie.

The wait is over now as the song has been premiered on the small screen and as expected, it makes for quite an eye candy to see the two lit up the screen with their oh-so-natural 'jugalbandi'.

A rock 'n' roll track that has both Ashaji and Urmila crooning with great coordination and coming up with a holds-no-bar performance, it doesn't have a single moment that makes you sit back and relax.

While Ashaji continues to be the experienced singer as we have known for decades, Urmila too doesn't do a bad job either with her first ever recorded and released number. One may have thought that recording with a legend like Ashaji would have impacted her crooning in a negative way but that's not the case as she does a fine job.

An impressive music video only helps the cause further and makes 'Mehbooba Dilruba' a song that should keep the fans of both Ashaji and Urmila smiling. Written by Vijay Akela, the song has been composed by Shamir Tandon.
