It seems there is a lot of 'dua-salaam' happening in the world of Bollywood this season! With two films expected to come back to back in the month of March and bearing a title conveying the same, one is forced to believe so.

When SALAAM NAMASTE came in 2005, one thought of the catchy title to be a one off case. But now, taking cue from the film, there are at least two more films with similar titles that are getting ready for release - SALAAM INDIA and NAMASTEY LONDON.

The good part about these two films is that their subjects are as diverse as chalk and cheese. Also, the films come with their own set of target audience. While SALAAM INDIA is a film about cricket and stars Sanjay Suri as an Under-16 cricket coach, NAMASTEY LONDON is a masala potboiler featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as the lead protagonists.

Both the films are separated by just a week between them. SALAAM INDIA is looking at a March 02 release when the World Cup Cricket fever would have started peaking while NAMASTEY LONDON is targeting a March 09 release.
