Bollywood’s leading media and entertainment company, Eros International announced that it has acquired the overseas distribution rights for NISHABD which is directed by Ram Gopal Varma and co-produced by Ad Labs.

NISHABD, an unusual love story stars Amitabh Bachchan and new comer Jiah Khan in the lead roles. Aftab Shivdasani, Revathi and Rukhsar also star in the film in supporting roles. A sensitive story about human relationships, NISHABD deals with the psychology of a 60-year-old man who falls in love with an 18-year-old girl. Simultaneous to the India release, Eros will release the film internationally on March 2, 2007.

After the success of the critically acclaimed Othello inspired OMKARA and the recently released SALAAM-E-ISHQ and EKLAVYA, Eros has global releases in the run up to April 2007 including NISHABD, NAMASTEY LONDON and the Aishwarya Rai starrer PROVOKED.
