While METRO continues to be pushed forward and latest developments indicate a May release, director Anurag Basu's fans have reasons to cheer about as they get to see another project of his materializing before METRO arrives.

LOVE STORY is the name of the TV show that is produced by Basu and for which the shooting has already begun. Roopa Ganguly, more popularly known for her role as Draupadi in MAHABHARAT, is one of the lead protagonists of LOVE STORY where she plays a modern mother.

As per Basu, LOVE STORY is violent in treatment and is similar to his recent films such as MURDER and GANGSTER. He also added that he would be occasionally directing the show while the other two directors Siddarth and Ravi Davla would add on as and when required.
