It has been a wait and watch policy adopted by numerous film makers as the crucial months of January and February arrive.
With GURU and SALAAM-E-ISHQ being the confirmed biggies arriving in January, February was the only month left for other movies to get some screen space. Since at one point of time there were almost a dozen odd releases lined up for February, most film makers just waited for the others to shy away from the race.
Situation has now started becoming clearer with the postponing of SHAKALAKA BOOM BOOM and METRO. With some breathing space left available for other films to arrive, TRAFFIC SIGNAL is one of the first to make an announcement for a February release along with HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT LTD, RED and EKLAVYA-THE ROYAL GUARD.
The promotion of TRAFFIC SIGNAL has begun on an (expected) impressive note with each of the prime protagonists of the cast being introduced with their character names.
Touted as a dark comedy, Percept Picture Company [the film's producer] are highlighting two major factors of TRAFFIC SIGNAL
-It comes from National Award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar
- It is the first Film to showcase the lives of people living around Mumbai’s Traffic Signal
