Amisha with her newest co-star after half a decade

Ever since Amisha Patel made her debut with KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI opposite newcomer Hrithik Roshan, she has worked with established co-stars.
In 20 odd films that she has done in the past, she has been paired opposite stars like Sunny Deol, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suneil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani and others but seldom has been seen with men who have been new to the industry themselves.
With probably an exception of 2 film old Rahul Khanna in ELAAN, she has more or less played safe by pairing up with more established co-stars. Hence it is a pleasant surprise to see her shedding her inhibitions for the film HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT. LTD. where she would be seen with Karan Khanna.
Many may ask - Karan Khanna who?
Well, he is the same 20 something youngster who was first seen opposite Mallika Sherawat in BACHKE REHNA RE BABA. Later he appeared as Irrfan Khan's brother in YUN HOTA TO KYA HOTA where he impressed in a brief but effective performance.
In HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT. LTD., Amisha and Karan play Pinky and Vicky respectively. Hailing from Delhi, they are shown as a newly wed couple who are poles apart when it comes to personalities and the choices they make. While Pinky is a talkative sort, Vicky is quieter by nature.
Directed by debutant Reema Kagti, HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT. LTD. is the next release of producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani after their hit venture DON.
The film releases all over on February 2nd.
