Sohail Khan is fast coming into his own. The actor is proving to be a better actor than either of his brothers – Salman and Arbaaz. He is good at dancing and his comic timing is excellent. In the few scenes he has in Salaam-E-Ishq, he endears himself to the audience with his cute performance as a man who has yet to consummate his marriage. For a man who once told me that his comfort level is being a producer, Sohail has really come a long way. Ask him when the acting bug bit him and he says: “The acting bug actually has still not bitten me. I think acting is part of the faculty that I am in. I did not have a script for sometime and I also wanted to see the other side of the camera. I thought that if I could step into the field which compliments direction, and that is acting, it would help me a lot. Not that I wanted to be an actor.” Looks like he has learnt a lot by just being behind the camera for a long time. Is this the way to go for future actors? Well, it is certainly working for Sohail.
