Can Himesh be the next Kishore Kumar?

 This Friday will decide the fate of Himesh Reshammiya as an actor. After watching trailers of AAP KA SURROR - THE MOVIEE it appears that he has done a good amount of hard work on his acting skills. So, Friday will be a big day for him.
The past record of singers turning actors is not that good. For e.g. Lucky Ali acted in SUR & KAANTE. Although KAANTE worked well at box office, SUR failed to create its spark. Similarly singer Sonu Nigam acted in LOVE IN NEPAL, JAANI DUSHMAN & KAASH AAP HAMARE HOTE and everyone knows the fate of all the three at the box office. Also Palaash Sen (Pop band EUPHORIA fame) tried his luck with FILHAAL, but it also could not hold at boxoffice.
But Bollywood has also a great example of legendary KISHORE KUMAR. Kishore Kumar started his career as a singer & then turned towards acting. Kishore Kumar proved his skills both in singing & acting and is still remembered.
So, should we call it an acid test for Mr. Reshammiya, whether he can follow the footsteps of Kishore Kumar? Will he get recognition as an actor too? Coming Friday will decide. All the best Himesh.
