Shilpa Shetty has sent a second legal notice to UK-based Jasveer 'Jazz' Barton, who had falsely claimed to be her 'Agent', made commitments and signed a deal on her behalf, while the actress was participating in the UK reality show 'Big Brother'. Barton had further bad-mouthed Shilpa and her mother Sunanda Shetty in the Westerrn and Indian media.

It can be recalled that after slandering Shilpa in UK media a couple of weeks ago, Barton came down to Mumbai and had given derogatory interviews against the actress to the Indian media. She was subsequently served a legal notice by Shilpa. Barton had fled the country within hours of receiving the notice. Recently, she was back in New Delhi along with 'Big Brother' contestant Jade Goody, when she was served a reminder notice. On receiving it, Barton immediately left for UK .

The reminder notice sent by Shilpa's advocate Shekhar Mennon mentions that the actress "is left with no other alternative but to avail legal action / proceedings, thereby filing an appropriate civil, criminal / defamation case" against Jazz Barton for tarnishing her image.

"Barton has not bothered to reply to any of the notices. In fact, whenever legal communication has been sent to her, she has hurriedly left the country," said Shilpa's spokesperson and publicist Dale Bhagwagar.

The Shetty's are also planning to lodge a Police complaint in Mumbai, requesting to detain Barton in future, so that she does not abruptly leave the country without addressing the complaints and queries.
