Sea Studios' EIK DASTTAK was completed long time back. Now the film would finally be seeing the light of the day with ADLABS taking over the responsibility for its release across the country and overseas.

The film is produced by H R Bakshi with Income tax officer turned filmmaker Shekhar S Jha writing and directing the film. As per Shekhar, the film is not a real life story but interspersed with facts and fiction. It is about an upright income tax officer in a team of four who fight the system.

The film stars Narein Jhaa and Vasundhara Das in the lead along with Vineet Kumar, Shreya Narayan, Amit Behl, Yatin Karyekar, Murli Sharma and others. Moses and Kaushik provide action while Sanjoy Chowdhary composes.
