Mallika Sherawat cast as lead in Hollywood’s UNVEILED

 A press meet was held today in Mumbai to announce the cast of the female lead of Hollywood’s Bill Bannerman’s UNVEILED. The female lead in this Hollywood movie is none other than Mallika Sherawat. Bill is Clint Eastwood's Second Unit Director and UNVEILED is his directorial debut. Though there were quite a few Hollywood’s leading heroines showing interest in this project, but the director was keen on casting an Asian woman as the protagonist of the film is a South Asian woman. This is the first time that an Indian actress is cast in a lead role in a mainstream Hollywood project. Bill admitted seeing a couple of Mallika Sherawat movies and actually zeroed in on her after seeing her MURDER.
Bill Bannerman has recently won the Oscar for best AD for UNFORGIVEN which went on to win Oscars for ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Film’. And has worked on films with Clint Eastwood that include Bridges of Madison County, A Perfect World and Absolute Power. He has also worked as Development Executive for films like Payback, Mission Impossible, Star Trek: First Contact
UNVEILED is a film about a Woman who has two husbands and a lover. Its a twisted film noir / sexy thriller / dark drama.
