Actress Deepal Shaw is all set to play the lead in Anjum Rizvi Film Co. & Friday Filmworks joint venture titled ' WEDNESDAY'. She has previously shown her splendid acting skills in Mahesh Bhatt's Kalyug and now will share the screen with greats like Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Jimmy Shergill and actor Aamir Bashir. The film is written and directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Anjum Rizvi with Shital Bhatia coming in as the Co – Producer.

Producer Anjum Rizvi has previously produced films like 'Charas', and 'Ahista Ahista'. The film's cinematography is by Fuwaad Khan, with the editing done by Shree Narayan Singh. The sound has been recorded by Rakesh Ranjan and the action sequences directed by Shyam Kaushal.

Set on a particular Wednesday this drama is placed almost in real time. The story takes place between 2 pm and 5 pm on a Wednesday in the enigmatic city of Mumbai. The film is slated to go on floors in the first week of April 2007 and the remaining cast is still under finalization.
