Sherlyn Chopra has two of her films expected to release soon and interestingly both of them have her playing a role where it seems that she has murder in mind.

While in RED SWASTIK, the murderous streak in her has not been hidden, what with the promos extensively featuring her carrying a long knife with her face body language and mannerisms all set for the strike, even RAQEEB has a storyline that makes one wonder about her role in the film. Though the film stars Tanushree Dutta as the central protagonist who has some mystery to share with the three men [Jimmy Sheirgill, Rahul Khanna and Sharman Joshi] in her life, what also surprises is the fact that Sherlyn Chopra's character in RAQEEB has been kept tightly under the wraps.

Only recently has she been revealed in the film's promos but that too only for the song and dance sequences. The number in question is 'Qateel' which by now stretch of imagination is a mere item/promotional song since it brings with the mystery, intrigue and suspense that is the mainstay of RAQEEB.

While she exudes the kind of 'oomph' as required in a song like this, she also performs as per the character's demand to this song by Pritam, which is very much integral to the film's plot and gets one hooked on to the proceedings.

RAQEEB boasts of a twisted plot that features a woman, her husband, her lover and a man who hooked her on with her future husband. With the husband's murder being the focal point of the film and the woman entrapping her lover into the crime and then later double crossing him, it boasts of Hitchcockian style of film making and leaves the audience guessing till the cards start opening on the table at most unexpected of instances.
