There is good news for everyone associated with MUMBAI SALSA.
While the film is carrying a positive buzz around it due to the 'today' feel that it is managing to convey, one of the leading ladies of the film, Manjari Phadnis, has grabbed Aamir Khan's next film. We are talking about JAANE TU YA JAANE NA which would be Aamir Khan's next production after TAARE ZAMEEN PAR which releases on 21st December.
Manjari had debuted as a school girl in ROK SAKO TO ROK LO 3 years back. Though she was noticed, she chose to hold back and wait for the best offers coming her way. While she did act in offbeat film FAALTU in between, she is returning in her glam avtar as a leading lady in MUMBAI SALSA.
Meanwhile Abbas Tyrewala directed JAANE TU YA JAANE NA also stars debutant Imraan Khan along with Genelia D'souza (MASTI, TUJHE MERI KASAM). A co-production of Aamir Khan and PVR Cinema, the film would have music by A R Rahman and is expected to arrive in mid-2008.
