Ramesh Taurani: RACE has been an exciting success

Within four weeks of its release, RACE has managed to net more than 60 crores from India alone. No wonder, Ramesh Taurani of TIPS is in a jubilant mood as it has turned out to be the production house's biggest money spinner ever.
"The film has done tremendous business and it has been an exciting success for all of us associated with the film. We had a belief in the film and director duo of Abbas-Mustan to execute the brilliant script that we had in hand", says Taurani whose next release this year would be Shahid-Vidya starrer KISMAT KONNECTION.
While the theatrical run of RACE has been stupendous to say the least, the film would now soon be making its home entertainment debut. It would be towards the end of April that the film's DVDs and VCDs would hit the stands.
Confirms Wamanjoor of UTV (which also has the DVD rights of the film), "RACE would be arriving in 2 DVD set with exclusive special features and behind the scenes happenings. We would be bringing it out in the last week of April."
Considering the fact that RACE boasted of a twist every 15 minutes with the film's climax turning out to be an absolute shocker, it would indeed be worth a watch to catch the film second time around and follow the dubious graph of each of the characters in the film.
