The oh-so cute and vivacious girl Genelia D'Souza who became an overnight star with JAANE TU...YA JAANE NA's tremendous success is celebrating her birthday today on 5th August. With her girl next door looks and infectious smile she's become the heartthrob of zillions.
The pretty lass stepped into Bollywood way back in 2003 with Ritesh Deshmukh in MUJHE TERI KASAM. Then followed Indra Kumar's MASTI again with Ritesh Deshmukh in 2004. After that she moved down to south to concentrate on the Tollywood industry where she worked with all big banners and set herself among the leading ladies of South. After gaining enough popularity down south, Genelia made a smashing entry in Bollywood with Priyadarshan's laugh riot, MERE BAAP PEHLE AAP starring Akshaye Khanna and Paresh Rawal alongside and later with Aamir Khan's Imran Khan starrer JAANE TU... YA JAANE NA where she left the audience stunned with her remarkable performance.
With this she has become the most sought after actresses of Bollywood loaded with good film offers and abundant endorsement deals. The buzz in the industry is that she may be the replacement for the advertisement campaigns.
Though Genelia is big star today and has countless fans but she herself is a big fan of Kajol and considers as her role model. Interestingly, both Kajol and Genelia share the same date of birth which is on 5th of August.
