Siddhu on big screen again

Navjot Singh Siddhu is certainly enjoying his stint in front of the camera.
While he is being noticed in a big way on the small screen, courtesy his LAUGHTER CHALLENGE shows, on the big screen too he has been making an on and off presence. He was last seen in a small part in the climax of MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI where he played himself. Now he sees a bigger role for himself in Punjabi film MERA PIND which is directed by Manmohan Singh, the man behind numerous box office successes like JEE AAYA NU, ASA NU MAAN WATNA DAA, YARAN NAAL BAHARAAN and DIL APNA PUNJABI.
As per Manmohan Singh, in MERA PIND Sidhu plays the role of an NRI who has chosen to settle in his native village and with the help of the youth in the village, he sets off a revolution of development. Soon, the village is transformed into a modern prosperous hamlet which is changed by Sidhu's simple but extremely enterprising initiatives.
To be released on to 5th September, MERA PIND is touted to be one fun family which comes with just the right masala mix of emotions, drama and comedy. The film also stars popular Punjabi actor and singer Harbhajan Mann in lead along with Kimi Varma. Supporting cast includes Deep Dhillon, Navneet Nishaan and Gurpreet Ghugghi. The film is being backed by Reliance BIG Pictures.
In a few months from now, Navjot Singh would also be seen in Harman Baweja starrer VICTORY.
