Filmmaker Wilson Louis is amused that some of his 'well wishers' are filling him in with rumors around Ram Gopal Varma's latest hit being a take off on HO SAKTA HAI which was made a few moons back.

"Come on, now if two films are based on the same theme (black magic), you are bound to have dolls, pins and people being possessed. There would be elements of believers v/s non-believers. That's quite basic and is the bare minimum qualification for being true to the genre. However, apart from that, I am sure that Ramu's PHOONK would have a narrative different from HO SAKTA HAI", says Wilson Louis whose horror flick won quite some prestigious awards in international film festivals a couple of years back.

He is aware about the fact though that his HO SAKTA HAI was probably the first ever film on black magic which came out of Bollywood.

"Yes, it was something really new at that point of time and if promoted in a decent manner would have done well commercially too", rues Wilson, "However, it is good to see Ramu's film doing so well. It opens the doors for film makers like me who wish to tell a tale different from conventional to the world. My upcoming films like LONAVALA KHADALA GHAT and KAALO, both of which are again set in the horror mode, should help me achieve that."

Coming back to HO SAKTA HAI, as per Wilson Louis, the film in one line can be described as 'A paranormal film based on the belief of black magic'. Also, the film being different from PHOONK can be pretty much ascertained based on the storyline as below:

Parvati (played by Mohini), a financially feeble woman, eyes the bungalow next door and hence targets a child named Tanya (Dharmik) at home to kill the family members. His family members comprise of his grandfather (Victor Banerjee) and an uncle (Khalid). Parvati practices black magic from her outhouse and soon Tanya is possessed as he goes about creating havoc at home. These mysterious occurrences make Khalid wonder about the secret forces at work which result in him taking help from Kushaba [Mukesh Tiwari], a saint, who can predict the layout of anybody's house by looking at their faces. It is during his assessment of Khalid's house and a missing door which leads to a spine chilling climax that (literally) leads to disclosure of numerous hidden skeletons!
