Can't help if Akshay gets all the credit for SIK - Anees Bazmee

Anees Bazmee has moved on to IT'S MY LIFE with full vigor. However, he continues to be inundated with queries around SINGH IS KINNG. If a few days back there were rumors about his fall out with the film's producer Vipul Shah, some rumormongers had a field day declaring cold war stemming out of some uncomfortable moments between Bazmee and Akshay Kumar. Reason? Both Bazmee and Akshay were the front runners when it came to getting the credit for the success of the film and the open question was - 'Whose success is SINGH IS KINNG after all?'
''The obvious way of coming up with a cliched reply would be that it is a team's success overall. Do you actually except anyone to answer it any differently'', one catches Anees Bazmee in a light mood here.
But there is a large section of industry as well as the common man who does believe that it is Akshay Kumar who actually pulled in the audience?
''And what's new if a statement like this being made'', Bazmee questions back, ''Whether it is Bollywood or Hollywood, the star-system prevails everywhere. This is not the first time when an actor gets the large chunk of credit for a film's success and it won't be last time for sure as well. Can't really help this, isn't it?''
''Even our there in West, regardless of who directs a film, a film starring Tom Cruise would always be known as a Tom Cruise film'', Anees Bazmee reasons, ''The only thing which is consistent eventually is what's written at the bottom of the film's title, and that is 'A Film by XYZ director'. That never changes and so would be in case of SINGH IS KINNG which would always be known as 'An Anees Bazmee' film. Beyond that it is all left to the way anyone would like to interpret or speculate'', Anees Bazmee makes the final call here.
