Lead cast of OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE strongly believes that the film would pick up further after a slow start on Friday.

"It was expected to be slow considering the Mumbai terror situation. I understand that what has happened in the city is a much bigger problem than OLLO not getting a very good opening. Saturday was expectedly erratic since there were mixed reports about certain centers getting 70%+ response, while others way below. I guess clearer picture would emerge after the weekend once things settle down", says Abhay Deol who has clearly come up with a career best performance in this Dibakar Banerjee directed film.

Paresh Rawal too agrees that the opening hasn't been up to the mark. "It is unfortunate but I am being told that the collections are picking up gradually. That was supposed to happen since the word of mouth has been quite good. Some may feel that it is just a line to state that 'Your film is quite good'. However, I know for sure that the word of mouth is genuinely very good this time around. The film is only going to show an increase in popularity from here on."

Neetu Chandra is obviously not seeing much into the slow start that the film has taken. "The film has been so well made and the response very good from everyone who has seen it. Give it some time, why are we over reacting when we all understand the current situation. Let's not be insensitive to what has happened in the city. Let people get back to normalcy and return to theaters. Dibakar's work has spoken for itself and the result is all the fabulous reviews that OLLO has been generating all over. I am sure the weekdays would only see an increase in occupancy rates."
