The entire industry has been univocal in its outright condemnation and criticism of the cowardly terrorists attacks on the Mayanagri, Bombay, which is their 'karambhoomi'. We have heard them speak up against the terror tactics on leading satellite channels and decided to speak to the one person who never minces his words, no matter what the circumstances or the consequences.

Yes, its filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, the bold but kind hearted face of Bollywood and we decided to speak to him and ask him his views and what he feels ought to be done at this hour of grief and tragedy.

In a telephonic conversation Bhatt Sahab was as usual forthright and candid and he said, 'It's time to come out of the dream world and face the real enemy within. He expressed his shock and anguish at the cowardly killings and said that the two main communities of India, Hindus and Muslims (apart from all others) should unite in the fight against terrorism.' He further added that these attacks are a threat to the secular fabric of our country and in a special message to the youths of the country he urged them to unite and join the fight against terrorism. He asked them to come under the auspices of 'Youth Initiative for Peace and Harmony' and work towards strengthening the social fabric of the country and defeating the motives of the divisive forces. As a parting short he warned ''Wake up India, otherwise it will be too late!'
