The way she is being talked about and discussed Kareena Kapoor has become an international figure. Her fame has reached such heights that even the UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown could not fail to notice her. In fact Brown's House of Commons invited Kareena for a special dinner at his residence at 10 Downing Street.
The gala event took place on 18th November. Kareena was to meet Brown himself and also be honoured as an international ambassador and join the Silver Star charity that helps in spreading awareness about diabetes. Besides meeting Gordon Brown, Kareena was also to meet leading members from political, art and culture and sports fraternity. But sadly Kareena had no option but to say "No!' because she was busy shooting for KAMBAQT ISHQ with Akshay Kumar in Mumbai.
Kareena's spoke person said, "Kareena was to attend Gordon Brown's special dinner event but had to opt out. The actress however does intend to join Silver Star charity and closely work with them for a good cause."
