Daughter of acclaimed Bengali filmmaker and actor Aparna Sen Bollywood actress Konkona Sen Sharma has it in her blood to wow audiences and she did with her power–packed performances in each of the films she starred in.
Though she began her career with Bengali films but became a known face in the cinema world when she starred in the Bollywood film MR. AND MRS. IYER, directed by her filmmaker mom Aparna Sen, which not only won her rave reviews across industry but also won her a National award for the same. This was followed by Madhur's critically acclaimed film PAGE 3 which again brought her in the notice of film buffs and critics. This film marked her entry into the commercial cinema and made her a popular face among aam janta.
If this was not enough then the pretty lady came up with even more acclaimed performances in 15 PARK AVENUE, OMKARA (for which she was once again honoured with National award), LIFE IN A METRO, TRAFFIC SIGNAL, LAAGA CHUNARI MAIN DAAG and so many and proved her sustainability in Bollywood.
Today this dusky beauty has become the darling amongst most filmmakers especially highly regarded ones & critics and counted as one of the most brilliant performer. And we are sure that her forthcoming film LUCK BY CHANCE with Farhan Akhtar will once again enchant us with her fantastic act.
