Setting the ball in motion is the most awaited film of 2008, GHAJINI, starring Amir Khan, Asin and Jiah Khan, remake of a Tamil super hit film of the same name. The story of GHAJINI a unique mix of action, romance, drama and comedy revolves around a completely unexplored plot (Short Term Memory Loss). What follows will be unveiled when the movie hits the theaters this Christmas. The film will be distributed by BIG Pictures in the international market outside India.
Come 2009, it all catches pace with an array of movies like LUCK BY CHANCE, 13 B and SIKANDER to cater to a wide range of audiences.
- Giving a lucky start to 2009 is the film LUCK BY CHANCE which opens up at the box office on the 30th of January 2009. The film marks the directorial debut of Zoya Akhtar. The plot of the film deals in and around Bollywood and how people from different walks of life come to the dream city to make it big in an industry where luck clicks more than hard work. The movie stars Farhan Akhtar, Juhi Chawla, Konkana Sen, Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia & has Hritik Roshan in a special appearance.
- Exploring lesser known territories is the film SIKANDER. The film is a touching story dealing with the loss of innocence in strife–torn Kashmir. Produced by Sudhir Mishra and directed by Piyush Jha, SIKANDAR has Sanjay Suri, R. Madhavan, Ayesha Kapoor (BLACK) and Parzaan Dastur.
- 13 B, a supernatural thriller is expected to generate loud hysteric scream in theatres across the globe. It is also slated for release next year. The film stars Madhavan and Neetu Chandra under the direction of Vikram.
