Vivek Vaswani: Shah Rukh has done a favor to me with DULHA MIL GAYA

Here is one film maker who has no qualms about admitting that it is the star power of Shah Rukh Khan that has ensured that DULHA MIL GAYA has turned out to be the big project as it is today. While RAB NE BANA DI JODI has turned into a Superhit and BILLU BARBER would be Shah Rukh's next release (even though he appears only in a special appearance), DULHA MIL GAYA too isn't quite far away with April/May being a tentative timeline for this Mudassar Aziz directed film to arrive.
"Frankly, Shah Rukh is doing me a favor by doing the film", says Viveck Vaswani while admitting that it his friendship with King Khan that made the film possible.
"It is a fact and when I haven't denied this earlier, why should I do it now", questions Viveck Vaswani while also stating that even though he had done something for Shah Rukh in the early years of his career, it wasn't after all a big deal.
"See, whatever I may have done for him in the past, I did as a friend. You do things for friends, simple, and hence it was nothing really too great. Anyone would have done what I did. However, doing DULHA MIL GAYA and that too for free, is huge. With a major portion of the shoot being in Trinidad & Tobago, it only makes the film huger and one of its kinds'', says an emotionally charged Viveck.
"We don't have a bigger or better professional in the entire industry. I am proud to be his friend", are Viveck's parting statements.
