A promising year ahead for Dia Mirza

Post 2007, Dia Mirza's career has been showing a steady escalation.
HONEYMOON TRAVELS PVT. LTD., SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA and CASH were her major movies of the year while she also had a song and dance appearance in HEYY BABYY and OM SHANTI OM. In addition to these assignments, she was also seen in one of the best short stories of DUS KAHANIYAAN - ZAAHIR.
Now 2008 too has a lot in store for the pretty actress as she would be seen in at least 5 movies. Her first release would be KRAZZY 4 which is a biggie considering the fact that it comes from the production house of Rakesh Roshan. Another of her biggies would be ALIBAUG which is produced and directed by Sanjay Gupta.
Later in the year she would also be seen in two small films - BITS AND PIECES and FRUIT AND NUT. While BITS AND PIECES is directed by debutant Manmohan Mahapatra and also stars Rahul Bose, Nandita Das and Reema Sen, FRUIT AND NUT also has a debutant director Kunal Vijaykar at the helm. The film stars Boman Irani and Cyrus Broacha along with Dia.
Currently Dia is shooting for SHOEBITE, a film directed by YAHAAN fame Shoojit Sirkar. The film has Amitabh Bachchan as the central protagonist.
With five of her films expected to hit the screens in the course of the year, it is indeed busy days ahead for Dia Mirza.
