After making a romcom KUCH MEETHA HO JAAYE (Arshad Warsi, Mahima Chaudhary, Rohit Roy, Parveen Dabbas) which was one of the first episodic/multiple stories to be made in today's Bollywood, journalist turned film maker Samar Khan has changed tracks.
He is now ready with his film SHAURYA which moves a viewer from the escapist world of feel good cinema to the realistic terrain of Indian Army. Starring Rahul Bose, Kay Kay Menon, Javed Jaffrey and Deepak Dobriyal along with Minissha Lamba, Rozza Catalano and Seema Biswas, the film revolves around the lives of two close friends, both lawyers in the Indian Army - Maj. Siddhant Chaudhary and Maj. Akash Kapoor.
Both the lawyers fight from the other ends of the court for a soldier who has been convicted for killing his commanding officer. While Siddhant is a defender, Aakash is prosecutor.
