MITHYA opens to fabulous reviews

MITHYA has managed to become yet another BHEJA FRY.
Just like last year's surprise superhit BHEJA FRY, even MITHYA was supported by controlled publicity, boasted of primarily character actors rather than stars and didn't oversell itself to the audience. Being confident of word of mouth publicity and positive reviews helping it sail through at the box office, MITHYA too embarked on a low-key release yesterday.
Well, as it has turned out, the film has opened to fantastic reviews all over with comments ranging from good to very good and excellent. Not a single soul has trashed the movie so far as websites, newspapers, blogs and news channels hailing director Rajat Kapoor for yet another path breaking effort.
Even though box office didn't show long queues on Friday, Saturday has shown a sharp inclination with Sunday expected to show house full boards all over.
The film has been acknowledged for being truly original with an ideal mix of comedy, thrills, drama and numerous unexpected twists that are bound to catch a viewer unaware.
Ranvir Shorey has come up with an excellent act in a central role whereas everyone from Naseruddin Shah, Neha Dhupia and Vinay Pathak to Harsh Chhaya, Saurabh Shukla, Iravati Harshe, Brijendra Kala and Tinu Anand has fit in perfectly well into the film's narrative.
Small may turn out to be beautiful once again this year as MITHYA appears to be on a progressive route and turn out to be a commercial success. Now that’s pretty much the call of the situation as except for SUNDAY, no other film has even managed to scrape through at the box office this year!
