Anjana Sukhani bags lead role opposite Sharman Joshi

Anjana Sukhani may have been relegated to back seat in SUNDAY where she played Ayesha Takia's friend but her career is certainly going in the right direction.
After making an impression in SALAAM-E-ISHQ last year and also getting ready to be seen in GOLMAAL RETURNS later this year, she has just been signed on in ALLAH KE BANDE. She is the only leading lady in the film which stars Sharman Joshi.
When contacted Anjana said, "Yes, I have signed on the film but we are not making a big splash around the announcement of the film. The idea to keep is slow and get on with the film's shoot. Later when an opportune time arrives, we would be talking about the film further. But yes, I am happy to be a part of the project. It has helped me take a few more steps ahead in my career."
Directed by debutant Farouque Kabir who had earlier shot for a short film THE AWAKENING with Ajay Devgan, ALLAH KE BANDE is said to be a film which belongs to adventure genre. The film is produced by Ravi Walia who has earlier made FIGHT CLUB.
ALLAH KE BANDE also stars Naseruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni and Anupam Kher.
