Known for his stylish and gritty frames, film maker Sanjay Gupta is getting into a different territory altogether as he gets ready to release THE GREAT INDIAN BUTTERFLY.

An offbeat film, which is an offering from Sanjay Gupta's 'White Feather Arthouse Films', THE GREAT INDIAN BUTTERFLY, stars Aamir Bashir, Sandhya Mridul, Koel Purie and Barry John. Directed by newcomer Sarthak Dasgupta, the film has been making a round of the festival circuits since late last year. The film was selected for the IAAC (Indo-America Arts Council) Film festival and Florence Indian Film festival.

THE GREAT INDIAN BUTTERFLY revolves around a young urban couple that takes a trip in search of a mystical butterfly, as they are unable to come to terms with the sacrifices required for success. It brings peace, love, luck and happiness, if found.

A simple tale in the complex miasma of a changing India, THE GREAT INDIAN BUTTERFLY is getting ready for a 28th March release in India.
