Nagarjuna follows Big B and King Khan

Both Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have acted in DON though the original and the remake were spaced by around 30 years. Now Telegu superstar Nagarjuna has followed suit and though the storyline of his film is a tad different, it is also titled DON NO. 1.
DON NO. 1 has been dubbed from the film, which has been originally made in Telegu. A big success down south, the film has already completed 50 days at the box office. A 'masala' entertainer, it has been hailed for its imaginative action sequences and some high voltage drama. Catering to the masses, this Nagarjuna starrer is what one terms as a complete 'paisa vasool' affair.
Anushka is the leading lady opposite Nagarjuna in DON NO. 1, which features Kelly Dorjee as the main villain. The film also stars Jeeva, Chetan Hansraj and Nasser amongst others. Produced by Imran Qureishi, the film is also special for Raghavendra Lawrence who not just directs the film but is also responsible for the story, screenplay, music and choreography.
The Hindi version of the film is looking at an early March release at theaters across the country.
