Why Bollywood perplexes Vidya Balan!

The success of Priyadarshan's BHOOL BHULAIYAA and Sajid Khan's HEYY BABYY has not gone to Vidya Balan's head. Basically she still remains the practical Tamil Iyer girl from Palakkad in Kerala.
Vidya says that she is perplexed as to what works in Bollywood. To elaborate her point, she cites the example of the multistarrer, SALAAM-E-ISHQ, which she thought would turn out to be a blockbuster, but it proved to be a dud. Vidya confesses that she knew that both BHOOL BHULAIYAA and HEYY BABYY would work but never expected them to be such big ones! She adds that she is not a saint who can disconnect completely from the world, but accepts that she does not think too much about the fate and results of her films and relies totally on her instincts. If her gut feeling allows her, she goes ahead with the film, but is now slowly and steadily learning how to become more responsible.
Vidya also clarified about the mini controversy connected with her mentor, Pradeep Sarkar. As per the pretty actress, she had not turned down Sarkar's LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG because the role required her to play second fiddle to Rani Mukherjee, but due to genuine date problems. She says that if that was the case then she would not have done a miniscule role in Mani Rathnam's GURU!
Well, we are quite sure that poor Vidya must once again be confused due to the below par performance of her latest, the well made and hard-hitting HALLA BOL.
