Bobby Deol film festival in the offing?

Bobby Deol has been having some really haphazard moments at the box office. After a dry 2006 that saw stuck-in-the-cans HUMKO TUMSE PYAAR HAI as the sole release of the year, 2007 was a watershed year with as many as 5 films arriving in a back-to-back manner.
Unfortunately for him, except for APNE where he was seen with his dad and brother, remaining four films SHAKALAKA BOOM BOOM, JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, NAQAAB and NANHE JAISALMER didn't make any impression at the box office. Though he was fortunate enough to get to play a wide range of roles in the aforementioned films, that didn't quite translate into good collections. Silver lining though came from the fact though that his performance was noticed in majority of his outings.
Now 2008 has been nothing short of being weird for Bobby since he hasn't seen a single film of his release. And that too when as many as four of his older films have started piling up in the cans. These are EK - THE POWER OF ONE (which has been ready for a year), HEROES (again on the wait for close to a year), ROSHAN (ready since the time of NANHE JAISALMER) and CHAMKU (the shooting of which is currently on hold).
Interestingly the only film of his which is looking serious for a release is Karan Johar production DOSTANA for which the shooting has already been wrapped up. Also, in this film which has Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra as the main protagonists, Bobby is said to be the surprise package.
Well, the time is not far away when we would indeed be a witness to Bobby Deol film festival!
