Exactly a year after the release of his last super-hit PARTNER, Govinda would be making his return to the silver screen with MONEY HAI TO HONEY HAI. While PARTNER had released on 20th July last year, MONEY HAI TO HONEY HAI arrives on 25th July this year.
What makes MHTHH special is the fact that tables have turned for Govinda in the year gone by. While Govinda did have a success in the form of BHAGAM BHAG behind him, it was stated as an Akshay Kumar success. And later when he came up with a heartfelt performance in SALAAM E ISHQ, the film's box office failure hampered his progress. This made PARTNER as a film that created more curiosity due to Salman Khan in the film and also David Dhawan pairing up with the two stars. The film was a huge success and resulted in Govinda being back in prominence all over again.
Now with MHTHH, Govinda is riding high with his comeback success that has resulted in the film's publicity being centered primarily around him. Even though this Kumar Mangat production is a multi starrer with Aftab Shivdasani, Upen Patel, Celina Jaitley and Manoj Bajpai being the part of the project, one can see Govinda dominating the promotional campaign all over.
Directed by friend Ganesh Acharya, the film is one of the many films where Govinda would be seen in the coming months. After this comedy entertainer, he would feature in Ravi Chopra directed BANDA YEH BINDAAS HAI before the close of the year.
