Ram Gopal Varma's new find (after Antara Mali and Nisha Kothari), Sakshi Gulati is on seventh heaven, especially after completing her first project, CONTRACT. Sakshi is a famous model and hails from Punjab. She has walked the ramp during numerous fashion weeks and events and has also done a number of TV commercials.
Being a model, her next big dream was naturally to make it big in Bollywood and so with stars in her eyes she landed in Bombay to try her luck. She heard from a friend that filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (who has always supported newcomers) was looking for a new girl for one of his upcoming projects. So, she met the casting director through whom she had a chance to meet Ramu. She went though just a single screen test and was chosen for the role. Thus Sakshi , through sheer hard work and also a bit of luck got herself the plum role of 'Iya' in Ramu's next directorial venture after SARKAR RAJ, CONTRACT, which releases worldwide this Friday, along with Shahid Kapoor's KISMAT KONNECTION.
