Season of comedies/feel good romantic entertainers continues well into the second half of the year as well. Though first half of 2008 hasn't been really kind to comedies with films like JODHAA AKBAR (drama), RACE (thriller) and JANNAT (drama) being the biggest of hits, the success of JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA has made one start looking forward to romcoms all over again.

Well, for the lovers of such cinema, there is a lot to offer beginning this weekend. From now till next six weeks, Bollywood would be witness to as many as 9 light hearted entertainers with most of them being comedies.

To begin with, this weekend showcases KISMAT KONNECTION which is expected to be feel-good entertainment at its best. With Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan looking good together in this Aziz Mirza film, the battle is already half won for KISMAT KONNECTION.

The week to follow would hardly be subtle though when it comes to comedy since it has got Govinda firing all cylinders for MONEY HAI TO HONEY HAI. This is not all as 25th July would also see Mallika Sherawat and Ranvir Shorey getting into some serious war-of-the-sexes with an unconventional laughter show - UGLY AUR PAGLI.

1st August may not really enthuse audience much since all eyes would be set on SINGH IS KINNG which follows a week later. However, for those looking for their staple diet of comedy shows, there is GOOD LUCK in the offering which has been pushed forward by a few months now.

After SINGH IS KINNG which is expected to keep audience thoroughly entertainer due to his action/comedy outing, the week to follow would see the belated release of GOD TUSSI GREAT HO. Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan would be reprising the BRUCE ALMIGHTY plot with this Rumi Jaffery film which should keep the smiles on for the audience.

In addition, entertainment would continue to be unlimited with BACHNA AE HASEENO which should be three times the fun, courtesy Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba, who should be getting the laughs along with Ranbir Kapoor.

On 22nd August, a week later, fun season would continue with C KKOMPANY and MAAN GAYE MUGHAL-E-AZAM. Both being pitched as holds-no-bar comedies, the two films would ensure that audience do not miss their weekly comic dose throughout the month of August.
